John South

John South lives in Havre, Montana. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a Master's degree in Counseling and Human Development from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas.

He served four years active duty in the U.S. Army and was a non-commissioned officer in Military Intelligence. He continued his public service as a Federal Agent with the United States Border Patrol where he retired after more than 28 years of Federal service.

He has lived several places around the country throughout his career and chose to retire in Montana because of the people and shared values.

He is married to his wife of 31 years, Stephanie, and has one child.
